In 2008, Donnie passed the torch to Eric Smith, who carried on the company’s tradition of excellence while introducing his own vision for its future. Under Eric’s leadership, the business expanded its reach to better serve customers in and around the Bloomington-Normal area.

In 2024, Maurer Wrecker Service entered a new chapter as Patrick Henson assumed ownership.
